Medgaz: connecting North Africa to Southern Europe

We were privileged to take part in the Medgaz project. The pipeline links the Algerian gas fields to the Spanish coast at Almería, with a 210 km subsea crossing from Beni Saf. It now carries up to 10.5 billion cubic metres of gas a year.

Our involvement in this complex, high-pressure subsea and overland project required close coordination with the international joint venture. Our work supported the project’s successful delivery and strengthened Europe’s energy security.
